Please Note:
The New York State Department of Health has a fact sheet titled "Advice About Swimming in the Hudson River During Dredging" a good resource about swiming in the Hudson River. http://www.health.ny.gov/environmental/outdoors/hudson_river/docs/swimming.pdf. Bridget Boyd at DOH would be the appropriate contact if you have additional health-related questions (518-402-7860, BEEI@health.ny.gov).

No dredging is occurring in the Schuylerville vicinity this season. Below is a link to the EPA Phase 2 Overview fact sheet that includes a series of maps showing where dredging has occurred in the past, and where it is being conducted this year:

In addition we found that the latest PCB levels are in the 40's and 50's PPT at the Schuylerville station.
Less than 500 is acceptable according to the EPA.
