Built It, Sailed It, Sank It, Swam!
August Cardboard Boat Race Was Fantastic

Superb weather, ambitious builders, brave sailors, and a huge crowd of cheering spectators made this annual event a great success. Live music and inventive children (cardboard slide anyone? how about a duct tape roll race?) made this truly family-friendly day one of the best outings of the summer for all involved.

Thanks to the many volunteers for their time and energy, and of course to participants, who brought much creativity, good humor, and fun.

Eco-Jeanius Fashion Show on 10/10/10
A Global Day of Doing at Hudson Crossing

Remember Step It Up 2007? How about 350 Day in 2009? Well it's that time again to face the climate crisis head-on. Join us as we rally together with people around the world in the name of reducing our carbon footprint and promoting choices that will support positive climate action. Gardening, recycling activities, re-purposing crafts, and making green fashion choices will all be a part of this day, along with a fashion show and the premier of a new music video inspired by all the children who enjoy Hudson Crossing.

If you'd like to donate denim items to be recycled and re-used in the Fashion Show, locate drop-off locations by visiting the Hudson Crossing Park website.
