2nd Hudson Crossing Triathlon is Outstanding!

More Than 500 Athletes, Volunteers, and Spectators Attend

Once again Hudson Crossing Board Member and Race Director Chris Bowcutt provided the leadership for a terrific sporting event centered at Hudson Crossing Park. Athletes swam in the canal, biked through the farmlands of Northumberland, and ran the Champlain Canalway Trail and the streets of Schuylerville. Thanks to all who made the race such an exciting and well-run experience! For more photos and race results, please visit www.hudsoncrossingtri.com

Swinging by the canal!

Park Volunteers Invest Time on National Trails Day

June Event Results in Swingset, New Gardens

Young Park visitors can now admire the boat traffic in the canal as they swing the afternoon away. Thanks to an anonymous donor, Canal Corporation officials, Stewart's Holiday Match Program, and dedicated volunteers, the new addition is finally launching delighted smiles. On the same rainy day more volunteers came together to create a new garden around the replica Locktender house at Eagle Point. Special thanks to Darryl Dumas for donating perennials in memory of his father Raymond Dumas, and Julie White, Marlene Bissell, and Jody Wheeler for their assistance planting them.
