Hudson Crossing Wish List

In no particular order of importance...we have listed some of our current needs (and wishes!) for Hudson Crossing. Please remember that Hudson Crossing Park is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, therefore all of your donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. If you discover an item that piques your interest, a project you might wish to sponsor, or a need you might wish to fill, allowing this exciting project to come to fruition, please let us know and we will provide you with further details.

We appreciate any and all help!

o Large nature sculptures

o A wooden mushroom patch

o Willow whips and/or volunteers to design and build the willow tunnels

o Eight to 10 sturdy picnic tables (alike) for trail overlook, Eagle Point, and the Knox Trail Pocket Park - could be made from concrete, wood, metal, or recycled plastic.

o Grass seed and/or sod

o A riding lawn mower and push mower new or in very good condition

o A weedwacker new or in very good condition

o Solar lighting (security lights for the pavilion, etc.)

And, of course, various levels of funding...for small projects and materials...for boardwalks and trails and overlooks...for the Dix Bridge and the Dix Estate...for electricity, for further planning and design efforts...for staffing*...and, ultimately, for the Environmental Education Center!

* Much of the success of Hudson Crossing Park may be attributed to years of diligent work put forth by dedicated volunteers and to the elected officials and employees of our local municipalities who have consistently demonstrated their support. Soon, the Park must establish a compensated administrative system to ensure continuity and the continued growth for Hudson Crossing.

We invite individuals and corporations to consider funding a start-up administration for a period of three years. Interested parties may contact us via our Contact Us button. Your information will then be reviewed by the Board of Directors.

Thank you for considering our wish list - we hope you'll choose to contribute to the success of the project&.and we encourage you to enjoy the Park in every season.
