Hudson Crossing Wish List
In no particular order of importance...we have listed some of our current needs (and wishes!) for Hudson Crossing. Please remember that Hudson Crossing Park is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, therefore all of your donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. If you discover an item that piques your interest, a project that you might wish to sponsor, or a need that you might fill to make this exciting project come to fruition, please let us know and we'll give you further details.

- Native plant species (wildflowers, perennials, daffodils, flowering bushes, berry bushes, scented plants - flowers or herbs, saplings, orchard trees, etc.)
- Labor and/or materials to create a stepping stone or log path
- Large nature sculpture's)
- A wooden mushroom patch
- Willow whips and/or volunteers to design and build the willow tunnels
- Volunteers to design and lead the building of a mosaic or mural wall
- Culverts (2+) to make tunnels through berms
- One single slide and one two-path slide to be set into the hill
- Six or eight picnic tables (alike) for inside the pavilion, preferably metal, could be made from wood or recycled plastic
- Two picnic tables (alike) for outside, preferable concrete, could be made from wood or recycled plastic
- Grass seed and/or sod
- BBQ grills
- Lawn and garden equipment
- A riding lawn mower new or in very good condition
- A push lawn mower new or in very good condition
- A weed-wacker new or in very good condition
- Solar lighting (security lights for the pavilion, etc.)
- Designated volunteers for: photography, internet research, weekend workshops (ecology, birding, tracking, etc.)
- And, of course, various levels of funding...for small projects and materials...for boardwalks and trails and overlooks...for the Dix Bridge...for further planning and design efforts...for staffing...and, ultimately, for the Environmental Education Center!
