Hikes and History Cruises – Event Details

Please note that in an attempt to ensure all spaces are filled and cancellations are kept to a minimum, tickets for these excursions will be released on the first day of each month through the Mohawk Maiden Cruises ticketing platform. Cruises for July will be open for reservations starting June 1st, August will be July 1st, etc.

  • Participants will be split into two groups of 6: one group will begin with the hike while the other enjoys the boat ride, then meet at Hudson Crossing Park’s “Eagle Point” to switch activities.

  • The on-land portion of the excursion is just over ¾ mile, mostly flat, and follows a mowed grass trail. The route taken can be adjusted to fit the accessibility needs of the group.

  • Held weekly on Tuesdays at 2pm

  • Best suited for ages 12 and over

  • All participants must be able to complete the hiking portion, as the group must hike to either meet the boat or to return to the park from the boat drop off/pick up location

  • Registration required for all participants

  • Attendees will meet at Hudson Crossing Park. Specific meeting place will be communicated before the event

  • Please bring:

    • Appropriate footwear and attire

    • A (full) refillable water bottle

    • Bug Spray

    • Sunscreen

  • Hudson Crossing Park is a carry in, carry out facility – please take all trash with you
