Volunteers needed!

Join Hudson Crossing Park and NYS Canals for a clean-up of Lock 5 Island on Saturday, April 18, for the Canal Clean Sweep, a day of service for the Champlain Canal and Hudson River.

Volunteers will meet at the Hudson Crossing Park Pavilion. Parking is available at the Hudson Crossing Park parking lot, which is located beyond Champlain Canal Lock 5. You will see the HCP gate and parking lot is on the right. We ask all Sweep volunteers to wear sturdy shoes or boots, clothing that they can get dirty, and to bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, and work gloves.

Please note, Hudson Crossing Park is a carry-in, carry-out park. This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with proper adult supervision.
