On days that there are private events scheduled the park is still open to the public, although access to certain areas (pavilion, etc) may be limited. Join Hudson Crossing Park for a truly memorable evening at the Banquet by the Bridge, celebration of celebration of community that will help ensure that Hudson Crossing Park is able to continue to provide a unique educational and recreational resource for our region. Held beside Hudson Crossing Park’s historic Dix Bridge, which formally joins Saratoga and Washington counties and bridges communities on both sides of the Hudson, the evening will feature a pre-dinner vintner cruise along the Champlain Canal for Honorary Committee Members and sponsor guests and wine and dessert for all on the bridge after a dinner featuring local food, wine, and entertainment.

Calling all sailors! Join us for the 15th Annual Cardboard Boat Races! Held every year at Fort Hardy Park in Schuylerville, NY, the Cardboard Boat Race is a fun and creative community day on the Hudson River. Participants are invited to build on-site the day of the races or bring a boat they’ve been working on! Challenge friends, family, co-workers…and let’s see who wins one of the coveted awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for speed, the Titanic Award, Most Enthusiastic Crew, Judges Bribe Award (“Bribes” are considered donations to Hudson Crossing Park), People’s Choice, Overall Best in Show, and Most Sailors Left Afloat!
